Ally’s clinical interests include helping children manage defiant or oppositional behaviors, anxiety, depression, and executive functioning difficulties. She approaches care from a psychodynamic and client-centered perspective and provides individual or family therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults. Additionally, Ally enjoys implementing parent training and supporting families in need. She has worked with juveniles in correctional settings and has prior experience as an inner-city school psychologist. Her specialty is providing a safe and interactive environment to tackle complex subjects, disruptive behaviors, and emotional distress. Ally’s goal as a clinician is to work collaboratively with clients on developing coping skills to manage emotions and improve their well-being.

Why Ally Became a Therapist

I chose to become a psychologist because of my strong desire to support and educate others about mental health. I enjoy offering empathy and compassion toward others facing challenges and helping improve their lives.

How Ally Lives Authentically

I live authentically because I always explore my values and discover new strengths and weaknesses about myself. Also, I try to use my clinical knowledge to help me navigate my unconscious thoughts and build self-awareness.
