Amira Edmonds is currently a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School. She previously gained experience doing group therapy with diverse populations at Advances in Mental Health and Addictions Treatment Center in Long Beach, California. She also conducted comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological assessments during her time at Woodbridge Therapy Group.
Why Amira Became a Therapist
My journey into my work as a therapist started by my desire to support individuals in underserved and marginalized communities. I find joy and purpose in this work and am honored to accompany others on their paths toward healing and self-discovery.
