Why Angelique Became a Therapist

Becoming a therapist was a calling rooted in my personal life journey. Through it, I learned the transformative power of being seen, heard, and supported.

I became a therapist out of a deep desire to help others discover their strength and live meaningful, joyful lives. I’ve always been drawn to human resilience, specifically how we survive, heal, and grow.

My passion for psychology came from witnessing firsthand how people thrive when their whole selves are embraced in mind, body, spirit, and culture.

I believe in the profound strength within every person, and I see therapy as a space where that strength can be rediscovered, nurtured, and celebrated.

How Angelique Lives Authentically

As a Native Hawaiian and Black Puerto Rican woman, I live rooted in my heritage and grounded in spiritual and cultural integrity. Whether reading by the beach, exploring new cultures through travel, or connecting with my community, I strive for joy and being intentional in everything I do. I want my clients to know they are worthy of happiness, balance, and belonging. I believe that when we live in alignment with who we truly are, we create a life that feels deeply fulfilling and brings blissful happiness.
