Why Chimezie Became a Therapist

I want to make the prospect of pursuing mental health and wellness for oneself to be as natural and fulfilling as possible, particularly for people who may not be socially or culturally accustomed to the pursuit of mental wellness. Positive mental health and wellness are things that everyone should know and believe themselves to have access to, regardless of their current state, background, race, religion, creed, sex, gender, or orientation.

How Angela Lives Authentically

I strive to live authentically by adhering to my faith and the values instilled in me at an early age. I believe that it is imperative to remain open-minded and receptive to the thoughts and opinions of others and always remind oneself that learning is a two-way street.

In all that I do, I endeavor to remind myself and others to take time for the self – in care, in learning, in rest, and in growth. I seek to remember and acknowledge those who helped and guided me in my journey as a practitioner of mental health, and I implore everyone to embrace peace and contentment in their journey toward personal fulfillment.
