Why Gabrielle Became a Therapist
I chose a career in therapy driven by a profound desire to help others, an interest in human psychology, and a keen awareness of the stigmatization surrounding mental health challenges. Witnessing firsthand how people often suffer in silence due to societal misconceptions about mental health, I felt a strong calling to not only provide direct support but also to contribute to changing these harmful perceptions. My journey into therapy is not just about understanding the mind, but about using that knowledge to foster a more compassionate and informed society where mental well-being is prioritized and openly discussed.
How Gabrielle Lives Authentically
Living authentically is fundamental to who I am, guided by kindness, self-awareness, and a desire to have a deep understanding of those around me. These values shape every interaction, helping me forge genuine connections and support others in meaningful ways.
My love for nature and animals also plays a crucial role in my life, providing a source of peace and grounding. Whether it’s spending time outdoors or caring for my pets, these experiences continually reinforce my commitment to living with compassion and mindfulness. Through this approach, I strive to inspire those I meet to also embrace their authentic selves and the natural world around them.
