Lorine’s clinical experience is diverse and extensive. Before joining the Mirror Mental Health team as a clinical psychology intern, Lorine gained experience conducting numerous neuropsychological assessments both in hospitals and private practice, psychodiagnostics assessments, and psychotherapy. These experiences allowed her to work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples, addressing a wide range of psychological and emotional issues.
Why Lorine became a therapist:
I knew I wanted to be a psychologist since I was an adolescent. On a routine trip to Walter Reed Medical Center I had an interaction with a veteran that solidified my ability to connect and empathize with others and my desire to be a part of treatment. Psychology has given me the tools and ability to help others and facilitate change. Just like that first veteran who greatly impacted my journey, I aspire to impact the healing journey of each patient I interact with.
